I'm very sorry to hear of Darlene's passing. My condolences to her family and friends. Darlene always seemed like a kind and friendly person when I saw her in the halls of Onteora. But, what most sticks in my memories of her was her courage and can do attitude. My fondest memory is when she and five other girls wore pants to school on a cold winter day--in violation of the ridiculous rule of girls not being allowed to wear pants to school. That must have been around 1968-69. I was so proud of her and the mothers who came to school that day to confront the school administration. As I remember it, the next day they dumped that rule!! It showed me and others that activism and protest work and it was an important victory for Onteora girls ever since. God Bless you Darlene! May you thrive in Heaven!!

Happy Birthday, Staci! I hope you are having a Fun Day! I can't believe our last reunion in West Hurley was five years ago!! I bought a place in NE PA--about two hours west of Woodstock. It's almost time for our 45th. I hope you and Rich can be there. It was really fun playing music with Rich last time!! That event was so cool!
